  • GM Considering 4-Cylinder Camaro - The general plans to revive the Camaro name with a retro-styled 2010 edition.  GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz told members of the press gathered at the New York Auto Show that “the drivetrain under consideration for the Camaro is the same high-performance one used in the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky roadsters. It’s a 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct-injected four-cylinder rated at 260 hp.”
  • Ford purchases manufacturing plant in Romania - The Ford Motor Company has become the majority owner of the former Automobile Craiova vehicle manufacturing complex in Romania. The first Ford vehicle is expected to be produced sometime around the middle of 2009.
