  • Solera files for $460 million IPO - Solera Holdings, an auto claims-processing firm made up of former Swiss Re and Automatic Data Processing units, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission late Monday to raise up to $460 million in an initial public offering. -- Tracing its roots to 1966 with Swiss Re, Solera was formed in 2005 by CEO Tony Aquila and private-equity firm GTCR Golder Rauner. -- Last April, Solera acquired from ADP its claims-services group for about $1 billion.
