This information has not been updated since 2003, so the laws may be different. A link is provided to each state insurance department.

Each state law summary includes all and only that state’s laws and/or regulations that collision repair and glass repair/replacement shop owners have found or might find useful as they and their customers deal with insurers. We’ve also tucked in a few laws we feel might be useful; it’s just that no one’s tried them yet.

We hope we’ve made the laws easy to print so you can store them in a notebook for use with your customers. These compilations are the product of our labor and copyrighted to protect that work. If you have comments or suggestions, please tell us. If you’ve found a useful law we didn’t include or know of an update we’ve missed, please tell us.
